hp_fanworksInvitations to join hp_fanworks have now been sent to all former members of hp_fanfiction (excepting those who have already joined the community).
If you're puzzled as to why you were stripped of membership and then re-invited, the short version is that in order to re-name the community tohp_fanworks from hp_fanfiction, the community had to have zero members.

Date: 2012-06-19 07:03 pm (UTC)All the subscriptions were still intact, so everyone still saw posts, and all the posting access privileges were still intact, so people who *had* been members could still post, but I had to kick all the old members out and keep on stripping membership (but not access) from anyone new who joined! XD
It's all a bit confusing, even to me, and I was the one that was poking all the internal Dreamwidth controls. :P
